Embarking on a new home search can be overwhelming, we understand it may intimidating. You probably have started your search online and are itching to get inside the homes. Or maybe you’re a little more timid about the process because you’ve heard stories about the crazy sellers market and think it is impossible for a buyer to buy right now. Especially if you’ve heard horror stories about pushy agents who talk clients into more than they can afford, you might be really hesitant to start your search! We’re here to tell you that is not the case – at least not when you work with the Homes North of Boston team. We provide superior support to all our clients advising and assisting you during the transaction. We are your consultant, your coach and your friend. We listen to the your needs and work hard on your behalf that deliver exceptional results. We believe it is extremely important to understand how the relationship between a buyer and a buyer agent works, because, our job is to help you!!

This is where the buyer consultation comes into the home buying process. This is your opportunity to interview an agent – at no cost, with no obligation to choose to work with them. During this meeting, the agent will cover the following with you:

  • The home buying process
  • Current market trends
  • Available inventory in the towns you are searching in
  • Answer all of your questions

The agent will ask questions to understand what your needs and wants are and to get to you know as a person. Experienced agents not only understand the nations current market conditions; they also know the different towns they work in. They can guide you toward – or away from – certain properties based on what they learn about you, your family, your lifestyle, your wants & needs.

The buyer consultation is not only for the agent to learn about you but it is your opportunity to interview an agent and learn more about them. Buying a home is a major life event, probably your most expensive purchase, and it’s important to partner with someone who instills trust and confidence. Use this meeting to ensure your selected agent listens to you, knows the local market in the towns you are searching in and can effectively negotiate with the seller. If you didn’t know, there is no cost to you, as a buyer, to be represented by an agent. The benefits of hiring an agent are immeasurable and you want to feel comfortable with the person speaking on your behalf. After this meeting, both you and the agent should have greater clarity around what you really want in a neighborhood and a home, helping focus your search.

There you have it! The buyer consultation is anything but scary or a waste of time! Are you ready to start your home search? Our buyer specialists are here to help! Reach out to schedule your buyer consultation: sales@homesnorthofboston.com
